Vanda was the head of the due diligence department of one of
the leading large law firms in South Africa before joining
McPherson Kruger in January 2007. Vanda has conducted due
diligences in various fields, including State forestry
activities; leading hotel group; major retail clothing company
(in liquidation); the largest medical scheme administration
business in South Africa; various outdoor advertising companies in South
Africa; leading newspaper group (involved in internal
restructure); IT; engineering; brick manufacturing; mining;
hospitals; investment companies; security; chemicals; property
development and ownership; liquified gas and various other

Private equity and structured
finance agreements – Vanda has acted for various financial
institutions and private equity investors in regard to the due
diligence process and the negotiating and drafting of related
